Vinyl
A blend of polyvinyl chloride and plasticizer, these gloves are inexpensive and can be formulated to have excellent electrical properties due to additives. Unfortunately, "what goes in, comes out," and the additives can have an adverse effect on extractables.
Flexibility, hence dexterity, of the glove is controlled by the amount of plasticizers that are added to the material, which again impact the extractables. Difficult to dispose of due to polyvinyl chlorides.
